On Display at the Flume Gorge Visitors Center through the end of August!
PLEASE NOTE: The Forever Locked Mosse display will be departing on August 31, 2011 - wee hope to have it back next year!
"Forever Locked: The Battling Bull Moose of Fowlertown," is a life-size reproduction of two bull moose that fought to the death when their antlers became entangled in a forest in New Hampshire. This amazing true story occurred in Gile State Forest in Springfield, New Hampshire.

The horns were recovered and funds were raised to create this amazing educational display.
The exhibit now helps support land conservation as well as provide scholarships to kids choosing a career in conservation. The "Forever Locked Moose" display travels around the region to county fairs, schools and events and the Flume Gorge is proud to have it on display in the Visitors Center from July - August, 2011.
